What do I need to provide?

Accepted Answer

You provide the information and business content needed to build your website. This may include: Business information and contact details, Services or products, Prices and other relevant information, Texts and images, Opening hours, Your logo and brand materials, Domain information or access where required, Information about integrations or specific functionality you need You are responsible for ensuring that the information and materials you provide are accurate, complete and suitable for use. You also confirm that you have the necessary rights to use any text, images, logos or other materials you provide.

Can you help with my content?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The level of content support depends on your selected package. With Starter, you provide final content and we place and present it on the website. With Plus, we can improve supplied texts for clarity, structure, tone of voice and conversion as part of the agreed scope. For Custom projects, larger content volumes, migrations, additional languages or more extensive content work can be agreed separately. Unless specifically agreed otherwise, extensive copywriting, interviews, market research, translations or large-scale content creation are not automatically included.

How long does it take to build my website?

We aim to have your website ready within 10 working days once all required content, information, access and approvals have been received. The actual timeline can vary depending on the scope of the project, the completeness of the supplied materials, feedback, approvals and third-party dependencies. For larger or Custom projects, the expected timeline will be agreed separately.

Can I request changes during the project?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Your selected package determines the level of revisions and support included in the project. We will communicate with you about the feedback and changes required to complete the agreed website. Requests that significantly change the agreed scope, structure or functionality may require additional work and can be quoted separately.

Will my website work on mobile?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We build websites to be responsive across commonly used desktop, tablet and mobile screen sizes. The exact appearance can vary between devices, browsers, operating systems and screen sizes.

Can you build custom functionality?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Custom functionality can be discussed as part of a Custom project. We will assess the requirements and confirm the scope, feasibility and any additional costs before implementation. Some functionality may depend on third-party software, APIs or other external services.

Is SEO included?

Accepted Answer

Yes. SEO foundations are included as described in your selected package. This can include technical SEO, page structure, metadata and performance-related optimisation as part of the website build. This does not automatically include ongoing SEO campaigns, extensive keyword research, link building, market research or extensive SEO copywriting.

Will my website rank highly on Google?

We optimise the website using established technical and on-page SEO practices within the agreed scope. However, we cannot guarantee specific search engine rankings, traffic levels, leads or other SEO results. Search engine results depend on many factors outside our control, including competition, search engine algorithms, content, authority, location and ongoing activity.

What is Webcare?

Webcare is MiSo's ongoing website management service. Depending on your plan, Webcare can include hosting, security-related maintenance, technical updates, support and an agreed amount of ongoing content changes. The exact services and limits depend on your selected Webcare plan.

Question 11

Is Webcare mandatory?

Accepted Answer

No. Webcare is an optional ongoing service. Without an active Webcare plan, ongoing hosting, maintenance, security-related updates and technical management by MiSo are not included unless otherwise agreed.

Question 12

Are hosting and SSL included?

Accepted Answer

Hosting is included when it forms part of your active Webcare plan. SSL is provided as part of the hosted website environment where supported by the hosting setup. Hosting and related services are subject to the availability and technical conditions of the underlying hosting infrastructure and third-party providers.

Is my website secure?

Accepted Answer

We take reasonable technical measures to maintain the security of websites that we host and manage, including relevant maintenance and updates. However, no website, hosting environment or online service can be guaranteed to be completely secure or free from vulnerabilities.

Is my website always online?

Accepted Answer

We aim to provide reliable hosting and website availability. However, uninterrupted or error-free availability cannot be guaranteed. Availability can be affected by maintenance, technical issues, infrastructure failures, third-party services, network issues and other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

What happens if I cancel Webcare?

We build and optimise websites with good performance in mind and follow generally accepted technical practices. Actual performance can vary depending on hosting, content, images, third-party services, devices, browsers, networks and other external factors. For this reason, we do not guarantee a specific PageSpeed score, loading time or performance score.

What about third-party integrations?

Your website may use third-party services such as analytics, maps, forms, payment services, fonts, APIs or other external platforms. These services are subject to the availability, functionality and terms of the relevant provider. MiSo cannot guarantee the continued availability, functionality or compatibility of third-party services that are outside our control. If a third-party service changes or becomes unavailable, additional work may be required to replace or adapt the integration.

Who is responsible for the content on my website?

Accepted Answer

You remain responsible for the factual and legal accuracy of your business information and content. This includes, where applicable, prices, product information, claims, contact details, legal information and other business-specific statements. You are also responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights and permissions to use content, images, logos and other materials you provide. Unless specifically agreed otherwise, MiSo does not independently verify the legal, factual or regulatory accuracy of client-supplied content.

Do you provide legal texts?

Legal texts such as privacy policies, cookie policies, terms and conditions or disclaimers are not automatically included unless specifically agreed. Where such texts are supplied by you or another professional, we can place them on the website as part of the agreed scope. We do not provide legal advice or guarantee that legal texts comply with applicable legislation.

Question 20

Who owns my website?

Accepted Answer

Your domain name and business content remain yours. MiSo owns and manages the underlying website design and code while you use the MiSo Webcare service. This allows us to host, maintain, secure and technically manage the website for you. If Webcare ends, the hosting and ongoing management provided by MiSo will end in accordance with the applicable terms. Any handover, migration or export of the website depends on the technical setup and the terms applicable to your project.

Do I own my domain?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Your domain remains registered to your business or the agreed domain holder. MiSo may manage the technical aspects of the domain where required to provide the website and related services.

What happens if I need something that isn't included?

Accepted Answer

If you request work outside the scope of your selected package or project, we will let you know. Additional work may be quoted separately before it is carried out. This can include significant changes to the design, additional pages, custom functionality, extensive content work, integrations or other requests outside the agreed scope.

Are the prices on the website fixed?

The prices shown on the website are starting prices or package prices as indicated. The final price can depend on the selected package, project scope, additional requirements and applicable taxes. For Custom projects, the final scope and price are confirmed in the project proposal or quotation.
