Privacy statement
MiSo Designers ([KvK number to be filled in if desired]) is the controller responsible for the personal data described in this statement. This statement explains which personal data we collect, why, how long we keep it, and what rights you have — whether you're browsing our website, completing our intake form, or working with us as a client.
What we collect
1. Website visitors: anonymised visitor statistics only. No advertising or tracking cookies.
2. Intake form: your name, business name, email address, current website and project notes.
3. During a project (clients): business information, contact details, prices and other content, texts and images, your logo and brand materials, domain information or access, and details about any integrations or functionality you request.
Why we use it
We use this data to review your request, contact you, prepare a proposal, and — once you become a client — to design, build, host and maintain your website as agreed in your package. We never sell your data and we don't send unsolicited marketing.
How long we keep it
1. Intake requests that don't lead to a project: kept for a maximum of 24 months.
2. Client and project data: kept for the duration of the engagement, and afterwards for up to 7 years where required by Dutch tax and accounting law.
3. Anonymised visitor statistics: kept for up to 14 months.
Website hosting and Webcare — our role as processor
If you take a Webcare plan, we host and manage your website on your behalf. Your website may collect data from your own visitors (for example through contact forms, bookings or analytics). In that relationship, you remain the controller for your visitors' data, and MiSo acts as your processor. Where required, we provide a data processing agreement covering this — contact us to arrange this.
Processors we work with
We use a limited number of service providers to run our business and deliver websites, including hosting, database, email and form/intake tooling. These providers are located inside the EU or offer an adequate level of data protection outside the EU, and process data solely on our instructions under appropriate agreements.
Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the personal data we handle against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.
Cookies
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. For visitor statistics we use a privacy-friendly setting with anonymised IP addresses.
Your rights
1. Under the GDPR/AVG you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your data, to object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time.
2. Email us and we will respond within one working week.
Changes to this statement
We may update this statement from time to time, for example when our services or tools change. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
